Dean Lewis Plays Captivating Sold-Out Show in Salt Lake City

Dean Lewis graced the stage of “The Depot” in Salt Lake, Utah on May 31, and blew expectations out of the water. With a sold out show, the room was packed, and full of excited fans.

Though everyone was on the edge of their seat, looking forward to listening to the piercing lyrics of their favorite artist, the opening act did not disappoint! Forest Blakk kicked off the show with an engaging set list of songs. Before singing one of his new songs, “Sideways” Blakk taught the crowd some of the lyrics to chant along. This helped the show start out engaging and full of high energy.

By the time Blakk left the stage, the concert goers were calling for Dean, shouting his name! Dean put on a captivating show. Every one of his songs felt personal and were filled with lyrics that tugged at your heart strings. He sent “Waves” of penetrating energy that kept the spectators singing along and pleading for more.

Dean played a new song he has yet to release called, “How Do I Say Goodbye”. It was a heart wrenching story of a time his father had fallen ill, filled with a pleading melody asking how to say goodbye to someone he has had with him throughout his life.

The show couldn’t possibly end without hearing some of his top songs, “Be Alright”, “Waves”, “Half A Man”, and “Hurtless” which was released spring of this year. Jumping from guitar, to piano, and back, every line Dean sang was accompanied by the audience as he left the stage leaving them chanting for an encore.
