The Lemon Twigs At Lisboa Ao Vivo: Live Concert Review

The New York-based band The Lemon Twigs has made remarkable progress since their debut record “Do Hollywood” in 2016. Being no strangers to the stage, the D’Addario brothers were immersed in music from a young age, living and breathing music throughout their early years. Their passion has propelled them into worldwide success, now taking them across the United States, Portugal, and Spain. Hailing their first performance at Lisboa Ao Vivo on May 26th, The Lemon Twigs delivered a night to remember for their fans.

Kicking off with “My Golden Years” from their newest album “A Dream Is All We Know,” the band captured the 70s-inspired rock-pop essence. While a live performance is no easy feat, the band exceeded the quality of their studio recordings, breathing new life into each track.

Despite the language barrier, The Lemon Twigs frequently engaged with their audience. Danny Ayala, supporting on bass and vocals, greeted the crowd with “Olá, tudo bem?” exciting enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. Playing through a setlist featuring hits across several albums, standout performances included the upbeat “I Wanna Prove to You,” the tender “Corner of My Eye,” and an impressively harmonious cover of “Good Vibrations” by The Beach Boys.

The Lemon Twigs stand out in today’s music scene, seamlessly blending the 60s and 70s pop-rock sound into the modern age. Their relaxed stage presence, combined with exceptional vocals and musicianship, makes them a must-see live act.
