Soccer Mommy Brings the Indie Rock Vibes to Toronto

Last Tuesday, American singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy (Sophie Allison) took the stage at Toronto’s Concert Hall. Surrounded by a floral display and soft, colourful backdrops, the setting perfectly complemented her dreamy music. Fans swayed along, soaking in the mellow energy of the night.

With a setlist spanning her discography, including tracks from her latest album Evergreen, Allison proved that her sound continues to evolve while staying true to its emotional core. Newer tracks like “Abigail” and “M” brought a refreshing edge, while fan favourites like “Circle the Drain” and “Shotgun” were performed in a new light, yet always resonating deeply with fans. Each song felt cinematic, like stepping into the soundtrack of a nostalgic indie film.

Soccer Mommy’s tour is a must for any indie rock fan. Sophie Allison’s live performances effortlessly captures the feeling of being the main character in an early 2000s coming-of-age movie. If you’re craving that kind of vibe, this is the concert experience for you.
