Sacred Rose Festival Brings Together the Biggest Names in Music and Art – Festival Preview

It’s Summer time in Chicago and that means music festivals are back! With so many to choose from, it’s hard to decide which one to go with and Sacred Rose aims to take center stage in its inaugural festival this August. Going from 8/26 – 28 at SeatGeek Stadium Campus, Sacred Rose promises to bring in a new kind of festival experience that focuses its lineup on jam, indie, psych-rock, and bluegrass that has long been missing in the Chicago area. With its different genre specific stages, festival goers will get to tailor pick their own musical journey and experience an array of art, visuals, and sounds.

Grateful Dead veteran Phil Lesh and friends bring jam bands and rock together with fellow headliners Khruangbin and the War on Drugs. Other musicians include experimental psychedelic band Animal Collective and 2022 Grammy award nominated duo band Black Pumas. Not just a jam and indie fest either, as DJ’s will keep the music bumping at the Laser Dome stage through the night. Whether you’re looking to jam out or vibe, Sacred Rose will have a wide variety of music for everyone. It will also be the first festival of its kind that the city of Chicago has allowed to jam until midnight. Ensuring the music won’t get cut short and festival goers catch all of the best moments.

Sacred Rose isn’t just bringing a talent heavy lineup either, the festival is also an interactive experience with art installations set up throughout the festival. Which is something that Chicago festivals tend to miss out on and Sacred Rose will introduce to its festival scene for the first time. The newly renovated Seat Geek Campus also allows for a comfortable experience for all. Featuring an air-conditioned dome to cool off at and grass grounds to relax in while watching musicians play at any of the elite production-level stages spread across the festival. Whether you’re a die hard fan or want to experience something new, Sacred Rose rewards any free-spirited curious mind.
