Sabrina Carpenter Is Back With Thrilling New Song & Video ‘Fast Times’

Platinum-certified singer songwriter Sabrina Carpenter has returned with a brand new single ‘Fast Times‘ and video release via Island Records on Friday.

Fast Times, was written with Sabrina, JP Saxe, John Ryan, and Julia Michaels and follows the runaway success of her 2021 single ‘Skinny Dipping.’ The track features the stellar vocals of Carpenter backed by shimmering piano and smooth bass. In it, the tune also features Sabrina playing pencils for percussion on the bridge.

Of the single Carpenter said,  “I’m in my early twenties, and it sometimes feels like you have to pick up, digest, process your emotions and move on before you even realize what happened. Reminds me of the times in life where we act on impulse knowing we risk the consequences of what that might bring but it’s worth it for the ride of what could be.”

Fast Times continues the wave of momentum for Sabrina Carpenter from the aforementioned Skinny Dipping as well as ‘Skin’ which has gathered over 123 million Spotify streams and 26 million YouTube views on the music video to date. The song became the #1 trending topic on Twitter upon its release and catapulted the artist to the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in her career.

However, not only is the artist having success with her music. She is also an accomplished actress and had EMERGENCY, which she starred premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.

The release of ‘Fast Times’ sets the stage for Sabrina Carpenter’s upcoming full-length album announcement.
