Rising star: Tate McRae blows crowd away during Toronto show

To a packed crowd, singer and songwriter Tate McRae performed at the Danforth Music Hall, in Toronto, Canada, on April 4th, 2022. The show was part of her North American Tour 2022.

Fans cheered and belted loudly throughout the show. The show opened with Babygirl, a musical duo and Mimi Webb, a British singer-songwriter. Her setlist included popular hits “U broke me first” and “r u ok”. People lined up around the venue, patiently waiting for the doors to open.

Born and raised in Calgary, Canada, Tate McRae rose to fame with her original songs posted on YouTube. Her first original song posted on the social media website, “One Day,” has gathered more than 38 million views.

Tate McRae proudly exclaimed to her fans about her love for her home country, Canada, and discussed her feelings about coming back home after moving to Los Angeles to pursue a music career.

Before the show’s end, McRae announced the upcoming release date of her debut album on May 27th, 2022. The crowd erupted again in excitement to McRae’s forthcoming album.

Overall, McRae delivered a powerful and exhilarating performance keeping the crowd wanting more.
