Milky Chance’s long-awaited concert rocked the house and left fans wanting for more. The crowd cheered on the German indie rock band as they welcomed themselves on stage. Fans crammed themselves against the railing as they danced to the music.
The band was scheduled to play in Toronto in 2020; due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they cancelled their tour, making their show even more special for supporters. Fans sang along as they played their songs from their latest album, Trip Tape, at the Rebel venue in Toronto, on December 1st, 2021.
Formed in 2012, Milky Chance is an indie rock band originating from Kassel, Germany. The band consists of the vocalist and guitarist Clemens Rehbein, the bassist and percussionist Philipp Dausch. They rose to fame with their single “Stolen Dance,” released in April 2013. Recently, in 2020, they released their album Trip Tape, featuring the single “Colorado.”
The concert opened up with Giant Rooks, an indie band from Hamm, Germany. The band made sure to excite and warm up the crowd with a youthful and energetic performance consisting of mixed rock and alternative tunes.
The crowd roared in excitement when Milky Chance appeared on stage. Milky Chance couldn’t keep their excitement as they bobbed and danced throughout their performance. Fans screamed even louder while Milky Chance shouted out their love for the city of Toronto.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the performance as the band ended their show with their most famous song, “Stolen Dance,” as they came back on stage for an encore to give a final piece to end the concert.
Overall, the show was a success and triumphed for the band as they gave a solid performance.
