Masego at Alexandra Palace: Live Concert Review

On the evening of Tuesday, February 20th, the RnB/Soul virtuoso Masego graced the iconic Alexandra Palace stage with a performance that surpassed mere excellence. Kicking off the UK leg of his European tour Where We Goin?, the 30-year-old maestro showcased his multifaceted talents. Whether enchanting the audience with his powerful and velvety smooth vocals, skillfully playing the saxophone, or making comedic remarks, Masego brought on the full experience for his fans. 

Supported by his exceptional band, comprising of drums and guitar, he seamlessly soared through the ethereal vibes of Mystery Lady to the infectious funk of Afraid of Water, culminating in the timeless favourite, Tadow. Throughout the evening, Masego engaged with his fans, leading impromptu sing-alongs of “Marco-Polo” to showering them with roses and beach balls.

Masego’s performance transcends the ordinary, blending flawless vocals with an infectious aura of positivity. His concerts are not just showcases of his talent but affirmations of his success. With a clear vision and an evident passion for his craft, Masego’s energy makes his show an unforgettable experience, a testament to his mastery in the spotlight.
