Grammy-nominated musician Marcus King is trading his childhood front porch for a bigger stage this summer, inviting fans to join him for the Marcus King Band Family Reunion on August 23–24 at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston.

The South Carolina native says the inspiration for the event is deeply personal. “When I was growing up, my family would pile into the car and head to my great-grandparents’ place for front porch pickin’, homecooked meals, and music that brought everyone together,” King recalls. “That’s the spirit I want to share—only this time, the porch is a whole lot bigger.”

The 2025 lineup promises a full weekend of music steeped in Southern soul, featuring Jamey Johnson, Marcus King Band, Stephen Wilson Jr., Molly Tuttle, Hiss Golden Messenger, Joshua Ray Walker, Leah Blevins, Pearl, Henry’s Pocket, and a special “Marcus King & Friends” set.

Fans can expect more than music. In true Lowcountry tradition, the reunion will be fueled by a serious barbecue spread. For VIP guests, acclaimed pitmasters Andy Knudson (All Pro Smoke Show), Will Andrews (Rolling Bones), Aaron Siegel & Taylor Garrigan (Home Team BBQ), and Matt Register (Southern Smoke) will be tending live-fire pits all weekend. Dishes range from whole hog and beef ribs to seafood and coal-roasted vegetables—paired with cocktails from Firefly Distillery. VIP perks also include access to the air-conditioned Firefly Club, a viewing deck, private restrooms, and a VIP-only bar.

Tickets are available now at LiveNation.com, with $1 from every sale benefiting the Curfew Fellowship Fund, King’s charitable foundation supporting individuals in recovery and funding music education programs.

About Marcus King:

He followed with Young Blood (2022), which topped Billboard’s Top Blues Albums chart, and Mood Swings (2024), produced by Rick Rubin, praised by Rolling Stone as “daring, vulnerable, and openhearted.”
