On Thursday, November 1st, New York-based duo Lowertown opened for Beabadoobee, bringing a thrilling performance. Their sound was fascinating, with a fusion of indie, grunge, and alternative. The two started out with the more mellow track “It’s It’s It’s” off of their new album I Love To Lie, leading into more grungy tracks like “I’m Not” and “Scum.” As encouraged by lead vocalist Olivia, the crowd moshed until the end of the band’s set. With such a short time to open the show for Beabadoobee, Olvia, Avsha, and their supporting band put on an amazingly lively show for their Toronto audience.
