Louis Tomlinson Announces New Album, World Tour, Festival, and More Along with ‘Lemonade’ Single Release

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson is back with the release of his bold new single “Lemonade”, available everywhere today. The track arrives alongside the official announcement of his highly anticipated third studio album, How Did I Get Here?, set for release on January 23, 2026.

A vibrant burst of funk-driven guitars, shimmering keys, and organic percussion, “Lemonade” captures Tomlinson’s signature honesty wrapped in irresistible hooks. Debuting as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record, the single sets the tone for an ambitious new chapter.

“The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, ‘Lemonade’ really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter,” Tomlinson shares.

The forthcoming album, crafted with primary collaborator and co-producer Nico Rebscher (Aurora, Alice Merton), reflects Tomlinson’s evolution as both artist and individual. After sketching early ideas in the English countryside, Tomlinson spent three immersive weeks in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where the relaxed yet inspiring setting shaped the album’s character.

“I sum it up as the record I always deserved to make. My bread and butter is my honesty. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be,” says Tomlinson.

From raw lyricism to expansive sonics, How Did I Get Here? is the sound of an artist pushing forward without compromise.

The Away From Home Festival Heads to the U.S.

In tandem with new music, Tomlinson’s Away From Home Festival continues its rapid rise as one of the most exciting live music celebrations in the world. Following sold-out editions across Europe and Mexico, the festival will make its long-awaited U.S. debut at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York, on October 4–5, 2025.

The two-day event will feature an electrifying lineup including Lauv, Steve Aoki, Plain White T’s, Daya, Pale Waves, Circa Waves, and a special DJ set from Zach Sang, alongside Tomlinson himself headlining both nights.

“I’m so excited to be bringing Away From Home to the U.S.—and for the first time, a two-day festival,” Tomlinson reveals. “I’m honored and grateful to have such a strong lineup over both days, and I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve too. Can’t wait to see you all there—it’s going to be special!”

A Defining Moment

With “Lemonade” setting the stage, a groundbreaking album on the horizon, and a global festival expanding across continents, Louis Tomlinson enters this next era with full creative confidence.
