Keshi Delivers Thrilling Performance at The Danforth Music Hall

On Saturday, May 28, American singer-songwriter keshi brought on an electrifying performance full of smooth vocals, fantastic stage presence, and most importantly, vibes. He played at The Danforth Music Hall for the North American leg of his tour, “HELL/HEAVEN.”

Before keshi graced the stage, Japanese-American artist Rei Brown opened with an emotionally captivating set, performing songs from his evergrowing discography such as “Islands” and “Forever.” Not long after, it was time for keshi’s set, his fans chanting his name in anticipation of his arrival.

The Texas native began singing “GET IT” and “SOMEBODY,” both songs off of his debut album “GABRIEL.”  This long-awaited record explores themes of love, family, and being under the public eye.

Later in the night, the 27-year-old charmingly asked the crowd if he could play his guitar, beginning with a performance of the wistful song, “drunk.” His fans sang passionately, turning on their flashlights and swinging along to the beat.

Soon enough, it was keshi’s last song of the night. With a bittersweet moment for his fans, “2 soon” seemed to be the best fitting song for the occasion. Given the great reception and packed audience, its no doubt that we’ll be seeing keshi in a much larger venue at his next Toronto show.
