On Friday, May 12th, American R&B sensation Kali Uchis took to Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto. Her “Red Mood In Venus” tour, in support of her latest album of the same name, made an impressive debut in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Kali Uchis brought the heat immediately when she graced the stage alongside her talented background dancers. She kicked off the show with many of her well-known hits like “Telepatia,” “See You Again,” and “Get You,” each with a stylish flair. Transitioning seamlessly, she delved into a selection of Spanish tracks, later stating to fans with the promise of an upcoming full Spanish album.

Each song brought a delightful blend of infectious energy, ethereal vocals and intricate choreographies. In a heartfelt moment during the night, Kali shared a personal anecdote with the crowd: “ I hope that you see me on the stage knowing that so many people bet against me, said I could never sell a room like this or do a tour like this… life is short and I hope you guys strive to walk in your purpose every day.”

Kali continued on with some tracks from her newest album like “Hasta Cuando,” “Endlessly,” and “I Wish You Roses,” before finishing off with the groovy and inspirational “After the Storm.” The Red Moon In Venus tour is nothing short of grand, with fun choreographies, beautiful vocals to listen to, and an array of dance-worthy tracks.
