Jeremy Zucker “is nothing sacred?” Tour: Live Concert Review

On Thursday, November 9th, Jeremy Zucker graced Toronto’s esteemed History venue in Toronto, delivering a captivating performance that undoubtedly left a mark on his Toronto fans. Kicking off the night with the infectious energy of “I need you (in my life),” the crowd screamed in excitement as the talented American singer-songwriter took the stage, surrounded by a mesmerizing two-screen backdrop filled with colourful visuals.

Despite his remarkable journey and success, the 27-year-old is never shy about his humble beginnings. Before enchanting the audience with “comethru,” Zucker expressed deep gratitude for his fans’ unwavering support. He shared the origin story of “comethru,” a song crafted in his room many years ago, expressing his disbelief at its current stream count of over 700 million. Moving seamlessly through his set, featuring the energetic like “not ur friend” and the soulful like “scared,” Zucker curated a truly amazing experience for his audience.

The highlight of the night took place when Zucker unknowingly brought one of his most devoted fans onstage to join him in a rendition of “Cry with you.” As his fan took a seat next to him, a heartwarming exchange ensued as the fan revealed his previous status as Zucker’s top listener on Apple Music.

The evening reluctantly drew to a close as Zucker returned for an encore, delivering a stirring performance of “always, i’ll care,” and “Supercuts.” Jeremy Zucker’s unparalleled stage presence, coupled with his endearing persona and soothing vocals, left an undeniable impression on his audience. Missing out such a phenomenal display of talent would be a regrettable oversight for any music enthusiast.
