Isabel LaRosa Casts a Hypnotic Spell Over Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall

On Sunday, May 4th, alt-pop superstar Isabel LaRosa brought her “Psychopomp” Tour to Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall, delivering a night of powerful vocals and infectious energy. Following opening sets by her brother Thomas LaRosa and pop singer-songwriter Mercer Henderson, the room filled with anticipation — and Isabel LaRosa did not disappoint.

With Thomas accompanying her on guitar, Isabel performed a set filled with haunting melodies and cinematic charm. Fan favourites like “older,” “favorite,” and “eyes don’t lie” each showcased a different side of LaRosa’s artistry, blending vulnerability with an edge. The showstopper arrived during “i’m yours,” where her hypnotic vocals and choreography blew the audience away.

LaRosa’s concert was an amazing reminder of her fast-rising presence in the alt-pop world. If this performance is any indication, the next time she returns, it’ll be to a bigger stage — with even more fans singing along.
