Who Believes In Angels? – A True Collaboration
The concept for Who Believes In Angels? was born from the shared vision of Elton John, Brandi Carlile, and Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt. This entirely collaborative project blends Elton-led and Brandi-led compositions, with lyrics contributed by both Brandi and longtime Elton John collaborator Bernie Taupin. Entering Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles in October 2023, the trio embraced spontaneity, crafting the album from scratch in just 20 days. They were joined by a powerhouse band, including Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Pino Palladino (Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan, David Gilmour), and Josh Klinghoffer (Pearl Jam, Beck).
For the first time ever, Elton John allowed cameras to document his songwriting and recording process.
