Lostboycrow Ushers in new era With Release of ‘Chewed Up’

Lostboycrow has long been a favorite thing of everything we do at Road Trip Playlists. From being the first guest on our Road Trip Playlists Podcast, to the pure enjoyment that comes from the music he creates. On Friday, the singer-songwriter released his latest single ‘Chewed Up.’

The new single comes after a string of successful from Lostboycrow, including his second album ‘Valleyheart,’ the debut two EP’s from 1990Nowhere the super group he is in with Olivver The Kid, as well as a second super group Asking for a Friend.

The artist first announced the song to social media on April 6th saying “I will say it at least 10 more times this week but it feels good to be sharing this song and this next adventure with all of you. ‘Chewed up’ on 4/8.”

The new single features the stellar vocals and impressive songwriting in each Lostboycrow project. ‘Chewed Up’ marks LBC’s first single since signing with Nettwerk, and is sure to be on all your favorite playlists.

‘Chewed Up’ Music Video

Released with an accompanying video the song takes you on a trip down memory lane. Starting from a packed storage unit to a nostalgic wooded daydream road trip atop a Triumph motorcycle. The fun-natured video is an excellent companion to the exciting new single.

‘Chewed Up’ looks to be the first of a new project for Lostboycrow.

In a quote given to Road Trip Playlists, the singer said. “Chewed up is the beginning of somewhere I’ve wanted to go musically for a really long time. It feels good to finally share that with people who’ve been around for so many iterations of this project and also welcoming hopefully a lot of people who’ve never heard a lostboycrow song.

The artist who has been successful across multiple genres his next album ooks to be different than his other releases. Referencing the Lostboycrow Spotify bio gives a small clue to this saying, “If Santa Fe was a conversation between my younger and older selves, and Valleyheart was a bouquet of love songs written longingly from my apartment, then I suppose the next album is a solitary dance on the way to somewhere unfamiliar.”

Wherever this dance takes listeners on the way to an unfamiliar place, ‘Chewed Up’ sets a beautiful tone for what is to come. Look forward to more on this upcoming project on Road Trip Playlists.
