Not many artists have had a year like Remi Wolf has. The 25-year-old artist has quickly become a household name since the release of her sophomore EP I’m Allergic To Dogs! released in June, 2020. Her work has been heralded by NPR, Time, Billboard, The Los Angeles Times, and more. ‘Photo ID’ from the EP has become a massive streaming sensation, as well as garnering over 10 billion views on TikTok.

A year later in June, 2021 Remi Wolf released a new standalone single ‘Liz.’ However, the song while a new release is familiar to many. Wolf has been performing ‘Liz’ at live shows since day one, and fans have been ardently waiting its release. Of the long-awaited single finally being available for streaming Wolf said:

I wanted to share “Liz” as a gift to my little Remjobs who have been with me since the beginning and have been asking for this song everyday over the last few years. I’ve been performing “Liz” on tour for forever and to finally have a studio version I’m proud of and can share with my OG babies feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest. This record shows a different side of my work…I felt so happy and free creating this song and I hope it makes whoever is listening feel the same.”

The soulful single has been praised by many including American Songwriter, Far Out, and John Mayer in his Instagram stories, more than once.

‘Liz’ is catchy and free as Wolf’s incredible vocals shine in the single. It’s easy to see why the track is a fan-favorite. Wolf also shared a live performance to go with the single. Watch it here.
